The U-C Comics Colloquium was founded in 2019 to bring together scholars, students, librarians, and creators in the Urbana-Champaign area to discuss comics and comics scholarship. A community of aca-fans, the colloquium highlights new trends in comics scholarship, and innovations in comics publishing and delivery. We are committed to exploring topics related to social justice and inclusivity in scholarship and fandom. All are welcome at our monthly, virtual meetings.
