The U-C Comics Colloquium was founded in 2019 to bring together scholars, students, librarians, and creators in the Urbana-Champaign area to discuss comics and comics scholarship. A community of acafans, the colloquium highlights new trends in comics scholarship, and innovations in comics publishing and delivery. We are committed to exploring topics related to social justice and inclusivity in scholarship and fandom. UCCC is an official Humanities Research Institute Reading Group.
Monthly meetings are held around the U-C metro, and vitually during the pandemic. All are welcome.
